This is a brief portrait of Flyness Mwallilino, a young girl living with her family in difficult circumstances in Malawi, East Africa. She is awaiting the development of new housing units being built by Habitat For Humanity and a new non-profit “Connect The World“. This scene is part of a ‘who we are” video for Connect The World, which is in the fundraising stages of an ambitious and important initiative which seeks to add high-speed internet and renewable energy infrastructure to many future Habitat developments around the world. JDM Productions co-prroduced, edited and shot this project over six months on four continents on DVCPRO HD. (2009)
